Deep Fried Taxes

Numerous recent studies published and available from the National Institutes of Health demonstrate that consumption of fried foods significantly contribute to obesity, cardiovascular disease, and Type II Diabetes. These conditions are considered chronic diseases and account for over 80% of health care costs that hover around $4 trillion annually. This would likely reduce consumption, lower healthcare costs (including Medicare/Medicaid) and improve the health of millions of Americans. There are many other 'healthy' ways to cook food.
